We ask that you read this privacy policy carefully, as it contains important information about BACON INTERACTIVE, how and why we collect, store, use, and share personal information,  as well as your rights in relation to your personal information and on how to contact us.

BACON INTERACTIVE Inc. collects, uses, and is responsible for certain personal information about your profile, as part of the Tribute catalogue of interactive video game software applications including Panzer Paladin, Steel Assault, Mercenary Kings, Curses n Chaos, Flinthook, Ninja Senki, Wizorb, and their companion websites (together, the “Gaming Services”). 

For members of the European Union, under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) we remain compliant as “Controller” of the applicable personal information under those laws.

Your content:
Our Gaming Services may allow you to create, upload or share content such as custom game objects,  text, images, audio, video, your nickname and icon. When you use any of our Gaming Services that include these or other similar capabilities we may collect your content in accordance with our user agreements or terms of use and this policy.

Information from other sources:
We may also receive aggregated or de-identified information about you from other sources including Platform holders (Such as: Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, Valve, or others) who may share data with us about purchasers, including, for example, number of purchases by day and by territory, and other information in an aggregate breakdown of purchasers by gender and other general metrics. This information is made non-personally identifiable

If you have directly supplied us with your Contact Information, it is used to communicate with you about Gaming Services related issues and provide customer and technical support.

Who we share your personal information with:

We will share your personal information if we have a good faith belief that: access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, such as a court order or subpoena, or a request by law enforcement or governmental authorities, if necessary to detect or prevent fraud, security or technical issues or to protect the rights of BACON INTERACTIVE, its employees, clients, or users of the Gaming Services.

How long your personal information will be kept:

We will keep your personal information while providing you with the Gaming Services or until you request its deletion (except where a longer period is required by law). Tribute is not obliged to verify the correctness of personal provided.

Legitimate interests: 

We may collect, process, store, transfer, or disclose certain information for legitimate interests which do not override your interests, rights and freedoms under the applicable laws. Legitimate interests include, but are not limited to: providing the Gaming Service, protecting users, staff, and property from fraud and collecting information on the use of the Gaming Services to optimize functionality.

Regional transfer of your Information 

BACON INTERACTIVE is based in Canada. Regardless of your location, you consent to the processing, transfer, and storage of your information in and to Canada.

BACON INTERACTIVE would like to ensure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every EU based user is entitled to:

The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that we complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us.

Information about children:
We do not knowingly collect, use or share personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent or as permitted by law. All of our Gaming Services are compliant with the “Parental Controls” options of each individual Platform holder where available. 

Security of your personal information:

Tribute will always provide the appropriate security measures to prevent any personal information from unauthorized access or use. Access is limited to those who have a genuine business need to know it through access controls. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorized manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

Tribute has active procedures in place to address any data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.

What if I have complaints and/or concerns? 

BACON INTERACTIVE will be glad to resolve any questions or concerns you may raise about our use of your information. Please contact us via the methods listed below to notify us about any of your questions or concerns, and we will respond in a timely manner to resolve the issue.

For EU residents, the GDPR also gives the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the European Union (or European Economic Area) state where you work, normally live, or where any alleged infringement of data protection laws occurred.

This privacy policy was published on February 28th 2021

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy from time to time, and will revise the “Last Updated” date above. If we make material changes in the way we collect, use, retain or share your personal information, we will notify you by sending you an email at the last email address that you provided us, or by posting notice of the changes on the services covered by this privacy policy.
